So I had the Lap on Thursday. It was a lot more painful than I had expected. I haven't really been able to do anything, just been laying in bed and letting J wait on me. lol. I've been trying to make myself move around and stretch a bit as I don't want to get too stiff.
I had the follow up appointment the next day with Dr. K. He removed a couple of fibroids and a little bit of endometriosis. My tubes are open and everything else looked fine. He said he didn't really see any reason for the infertility or the pain that I've been having. The fibroids and Endo were in places that shouldn't really affect fertility. This makes me so frustrated. I guess I was really holding onto the Lap as being the answer to all of this. That once I had gone through this we would have a clear path as to what was wrong. But we don't. We're pretty much back at square one. So I go back to see him in a month and get some bloodwork done in the meantime. And we'll see where we go from there.
I go back to work on Wednesday. Not really looking forward to that but I do have to admit that I'm getting bored of watching TV and reading.

So glad your doing ok. Sorry you didn't get any answers from it though. I may need to do the same thing in the upcoming months. Not looking forward to it.
ReplyDeleteHmm. Sorry that the lap didn't end up providing you with the answers you wanted. I know how frustrating that is. Glad your tubes are open and everything is fine though. Hope you are up and running and pain free by the time you need to go back to work.
