OK, I wasn't going to post this as it's probably nothing, but....gotta get it off my chest.
I went for a physical yesterday. I mentioned to the Dr. about the pain I've been having on my lower right side for a few months now. They think that it's something to do with my right ovary. I kind of expected that, so it wasn't much of a shock. She said it's a strong possibility that I have Endo. Great, just what I need.
But then when she was doing my internal, she found "something" near my cervix. Some sort of growth that's quite large. Most likely it's a cyst or something, but it's still scary hearing those words. Having her get another Dr to check it out and him confirming the same thing.
Ack, I'm freaking out...and I shouldn't be, right?
I would be scared too. However, it is good they found it before anything bad happened. Also, if they get it out maybe you will get pregnant in a snap.

ReplyDeleteThey gave me a u/s immediately when they found evidence of my ovarian cyst. Once they confirmed it was there, I was scheduled for tests (for surgery) and surgery within 2 months. I don't ever remember being scared that it could be cancer but I do remember being happy in recovery when the oncologist told me it wasn't.
I'll be thinking of you and hoping it's nothing!
I know I would be all kinds of freaked out cause I tend to do that so I don't blame you a bit for being concerned. Hopefully it's nothing serious but at least they are looking at it and acting on it. I hope you get some comforting news soon.
